Engineering Consulting and Planning of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure
Our Engineering Department specializes in wastewater treatment facilities and water and wastewater infrastructure
Water is in our nature, and managing it is a mission requiring extensive knowledge, rich professional experience, and tailored solutions for each project. Our team works hand-in-hand with clients from project initiation to the completion and operation of wastewater treatment facilities and water, sewage, and reclaimed water delivery systems
A cleaner, greener world begins with thorough treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater: preventing soil and water pollution, recycling water, and above all—protecting the public and the environment.
DHVmed’s Engineering Department has designed, managed construction, and upgraded approximately 35 WWTPs across Israel. Our department specializes in the support, operation, and design of WWTPs, from initiation through operational start-up. Our services include feasibility studies, selection of suitable technological solutions based on design data and wastewater characteristics, regulatory requirements for effluent and sludge quality, general and detailed construction planning, support in professional committees, high-level supervision, and guidance throughout the construction process.
We handle projects involving new facility constructions, expansions, modifications, upgrades of existing facilities, and planning of wastewater and reclaimed water conveyance systems. We utilize specialized process software developed by RHDHV, alongside CAD and 3D modeling tools, collaborating with sub-consultants for complementary design areas as needed.
We believe that looking ahead not only prepares us for the future but also enables strategic planning, vision, and overcoming challenges. DHVmed prepares long-term master plans for water supply and sewage systems from an ecological and engineering perspective, anticipating future opportunities and providing detailed planning for municipal and regional wastewater, reclaimed water, and water transport systems. These master plans combine long-term future planning with strategic management perspectives, accelerating innovation in water and sewage infrastructure. Plans are developed by leading professionals in Israel’s engineering and infrastructure sectors to create advanced, reliable, and resilient systems.
WWTPs are a core strength of our engineering department. Our consulting and support team specializes in optimizing and maximizing the capabilities of existing WWTPs to ensure efficient operations, improved quality of reclaimed water for irrigation and streams, and reduced economic costs.
DHVmed teams conduct performance analyses, support contractors and corporations with regulatory and efficiency matters, and ensure optimal system operation to produce high-quality reclaimed water and sludge, benefiting plant operators and the public.
